Kawasaki Vulcan cylinder filling with gas?

The other night I swapped the forks on my 1993 Kawasaki Vulcan 750cc because they where bent. at the same time I swapped the throttle cables since the bike seemed to be running crazy. well today I went out and tried to fire it off and found that the cylinders had filled with gas. any ideas what could be causing this?

I'd say Daniel is correct. After you cure the problem don't run it til you change the oil.I'm sure the oil has been mixed with gas too.Pull the dipstick and check it.If it appears to be way full and smells like gas it needs changing.Running it like that will kill your engine. You should always shut your gas off when your not riding.
