Gee, where to start...
Well, depends on how nice of a paint job you want. Unfortunately, just like on a car, if a motorcycle does not have the factory paint, let alone factory decals...it's severely affected in it's value.
But, having said that, the sky is the limit when it comes to price. I used to manage a motorcycle shop, and when someone wanted custom paint done, we sent it to the painter, and charged the cucstomer double what the painter charged us.
Moral is find the painter directly. With a bike, it's such a pain because inevitably, the bike is going to fall over, crash, etc...and then getting it custom painted will be a pain in the ass to repair. And you'll be without your plastics for weeks until it gets repaired.
I'd say do some legwork to find a charcoal colored bike from the factory. Some CBR 600RR's within the last few years had charcoal colors. There's others too, just need to look around.
