I recently bought a brand new 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 500R. Yesterday, I fired her up and noticed a high pitch whining noise as the rpms approach 2000 accelerating and decelerating. I'm not sure if this noise is normal, but it didn't sound very normal to me. I called the dealership and they said they would need to have a look; however, they are about 20 miles away and I don't feel comfortable riding there yet. Has this happened to anybody else?
