Kawasaki Ninja 250r pricing?!?

The starting on it is 3500 on its website, but why do they go for liek 4500 on ebay? are they sold out or something? dont no much of motorcycles, but what makes it 1000 more elsewhere? is there anywherei would be able to find them for less than 4000?
 
i was going to get that at first for the msrp at a local bike shop but the earliest i could was next june lmao im not waiting that long to ride. get something more like a 500 or 600. i rode a 500 before (buell blast) and while powerful it wasnt enough to send me runnin to a 250. with the throttle twisted all teh way it went but wanst anything too much to hold on to. if you like the ninjas go with a 500 or 650 for now and respect it, and good luck to you
