...bike. Where does it go to? Bought a bike that needed work. Got the work done but the hoses were not connected when I got it back from mechanic. I have the 2 hoses attached to the top of the carb and the ones from petcock and the back of the tank. Can't find where this hose woiuld go. It's not connected to anything on either end. Just had it running around the top of frame under the seat. Any clues where it goes or where to find a diagram of the hose routing? I couldn't find it anywhere. Thanks

It probably goes to the tank as a vent dump, However, this links lets you download free pdf manual so you can look it up yourself.

Enjoy.

For future reference, always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer.
Sometimes the year can make a difference.

250 ninjas have a drain hose attached to the bottom of the tank (near the center).
If gas is spilled when filling the tank, the excess gas drains down a hole and out the tube on the bottom of the tank..
That hose doesn't connect to anything on the other end - just hangs behind the back of the engine, to drain the gas to the ground.

I'm not saying that's what your extra hose is - just an educated guess.
It's easy to forget attaching it when re-installing the tank after service.

Turn off the petcock.
Remove the hoses from the petcock.
Remove the bolts at the rear of the tank.
Lift the tank to check if that hose is connected.
