Hey, i have a 1989 Kawasaki Mojave 250 DOHC, that wont kick start, but will start if you put it in 1st and push it down the road and start it that way. After warming it up for a bout 5 minutes it can idle on its own but its very high. Ive cleaned the jets, carb, everything that could cause the kick starting problem, but all that is left is the valves. Ive done some research online, that on these engines if the exhaust is a little bit off it wont kick start. When it is idling after warmed up you can hear a little ticking coming from the top end. Unfortunately I don't have a manual, otherwise i would just look it up in there, could anyone tell me the clearance that should be on there for the intake and exhaust valves, i know it has to be at 150psi for the compression. Also, if anyone knows a website that sells an electronic copy of the manual for this ATV, it would really appreciate it. Thanks
