When i start my Kawasaki gt550 up it does the usal rattly knocks. But when i pull off or excelorat i hear a rattling sound that sounds like a tappet noice. but fades off when the engine isnt under load. The hotter the day the wose the rattling noise is. Also i have a noise when pulling off that sounds like a blown exhuast gasket, but all the bolts are tight and the exhuast system has no leaks in i around the head area where the oise appears to come from.
The bike has Done 89,500miles and has worn valve guide seals so im thinking the engine may be on its lastlegs lol
