Right the following engines will fit my kawasaki gt550 with only changine the gearbox.
I have looked at a few GPz and ZX600 engines on ebay and they look like they will fit, with only the gearbox need to be swapped.
I have been told by a few answers on here that this engine will not fit, yet i can not see why.
So would someone like to explain to me why it would not fit if i:
A replaced the gearbox for the GT550
B bolted the bevel box on
c found a way to mount the radiator and oil cooler on
The only issues i could imagine is
A - mounting the radiator
B- the overall hieght of the engine
C- possible exhaust system diffrences
Following engines i know will fit my bike:
ZR550 zephyr
Z550
Z500
Z400J
GPZ550
