here is the problem. bought bike cheap, went for ridebike rode great. on the way home bike lost power, started spitting and sputeering. limpped bike home. figured i had blown a piston ring. tore top end down. no problems. put back together with new parts. bike would not start. no spark. bought used secondary coil. bike had spark. got bike to run ok. went for ride. when i got home the timing seemed a little off. made small adjustment. lost spark again. so the whole problem is with electrical system. decide to change points and condenser. make hillbilly version of a flywheel puller. try and try and try and try and try some more cant remove flywheel. get pissed attack it with a cutoff wheel. boy that steel is tough. finally remove the flywheel!!! assemble parts list. new ignition coil, new points new condenser new flywheel. parts arrive . time for reassembly. when i got the bike the lights and battery had been stripped. wireing harness was left. really ugly. since the bike run befor i feel confident that the harness and lighting and charging coils are not needed for operation. stripped bike down to the one wire that runs to the kill switch and secondary coil. i have installed the new parts on the stator. so my problem is that when everything is hooked up and i try to test the circuit, nothing happens when i open the points. no resitance. i should have 1.2-1.3 ohms of resitance in the ignition coil. i am testing with an ohm meter. please help what am i doing wrong??????
