Kawasaki Dirt bike wont start was fine yesterday: No spark?

The bike ran absolutly fine yesterday and today theres suddenly no spark, could this just be the coil needing replacement or something else?
It is a 1984 Kx 80 bored 120cc

the CDI can be on it's last leg ( even with a weak spark ) check for the obvious, ground wire, kill switch not stuck or grounding out, coile wires attached properly and not corded anywhere etc. Most bike shops will test the cdi for free that do lots of of 2 cycle repairs
 
could be, but id look out for some type of safety or kill switch, like a brake switch, make sure its in neutral first. then start checking the coils.
