I have a 1100 zzr. I have been looking for sealant for my fuel tank but need to know how much the tank holds in litres.

Does anyone have any idea?

Also anyone know any good sites etc to find either the sealant or a good second hand fuel tank?

Thanks for your help..

Hello there... it looks like I can not find answer to ur query. But I would like to share with you amazing site just for stopping by here. You know you can run your car on water?. Check out yourself at - http://snipurl.com/3mw25. I tried it and it is working for me.

toria , fuel tank holds approx 17 litres . check classic bike .com for product name petseal. works very well, onya! M

I feel for you darlin. I am a re-builder of old cycles for profit and the fuel tanks are the biggest thorn in my side. I find it best to brass braze the rusted areas if they are not to far gone. I will go as far as welding patches to the under side of the tank if the profit Margin is right. Time,Time,Time.

Bring your tank to a radiator repair shop.
They will professionally clean and seal it for under $150
For me, it was worth the money compared to the mess of doing it myself.
The price is usually around $100, but the tank I needed sealed was ready for the scrap heap.

Get the "Kreem Fuel Tank Liner and Tank Prep Combo"
It has all the necessary chemicals, the others are just extra sealant for larger tanks and addition work.
