Well, an R1 is not in the 600cc range, for a start. These bikes are all designed for experts, which you are obviously not, or you would know that the one which will suit you is the one you feel best about RIDING. Every experienced rider knows that all the bikes you mention are a matter of personal choice, and they wouldn't ask this question. Read the links below, then don't buy any of them. Sportbikes are not beginner bikes.

alot of people boast the performance of the kawasaki and yamaha bikes.. i however having rid quite a few bikes in my time think kawasaki and yamaha bikes are heavily lacking in the suspension department when compared to a suzuki.. and slightly lacking compared to honda bikes.. I had a GSX-R 750 for about 9 months then i got married and i was told to sell it pretty much.. The suzuki bikes will give you the most bang for your buck

I'm biased, I own a Yamaha R6S, so I'd go with the Yamaha. But I like the look of Yamaha's over any other sport bike. I got the R6S because it has the look of older model R6, which I like better than new style.

It's really your preference. What look do you like? What specs are you going for? Brand preference?

And, just like everyone else said R1 = 1000cc, R6 = 600cc
Makes me nervous recommending any brand when you don't know this...

All 600's go about the same speed, unless you tune it different.

Brand new, I'd get the GSX-R600, CBR600RR, R6, then the ZX6R in that order. I actually prefer 600cc to literbikes, they're more fun to ride. This is, of course, if you are riding street. For track purposes the R6 is pretty beastly just because of it's speed.

For a start, the yamah R1 is a 1000cc bike.

Most bang for buck in 1000 cc is honda fireblade.
in 600cc class, ZX6R Kawasaki ninja.

which bike should i get a R1 or a ninja ?? possably thinking of a gsxr
all bikes in the 600 range what bike will i get the most bang for my buck
