I don't know about everyone else, but I watch TV, esp. cartoons, to escape reality. Who the bloomin' onion wants cartoons to reflect reality?!
That said, the writers of "Kim Possible" really crapped the bed in not giving Bonnie a suitable punishment for her machinations ("Homecoming Upset"). She has the election for Homecoming Queen rigged, rubs her spending time with Ron in Kim's face, kisses him and at the end, not only is she not punished, but she's actually rewarded with a relationship with moneyed Eurotrash bohunk Senor Senior Junior.
Nice message to send to the target audience: be as obnoxious to people who want to help you as opposed to, say, tying you to a chair and knocking the daylights out of you and you, too, will never be punished for it.
