Karl Rove and Rush Limbaugh to Guest Star on Family Guy

Have conservatives found their sense of humor?

Oh, gee, I don't know...ask Kelsey Grammer, or Jackie Mason, or Ben Stein, or any number of conservative-leaning comedians who win awards and make a good living in Hollywood. ;)

HALLELUJAH, Brian's less-than-pleasant personality of as late finally gets acknowleged! :D

Actually kinda looking forward to this, though how they're going to possibly work in Rush Limbaugh is beyond me (didn't they already establish that he was just a character played by Fred Savage?)

they're either more open-minded than we think, they need the money, or it's self-promoting. but being that it's family guy, should be interesting how they're used. particularly rove and limbaugh.

and how is stewie gay when he's shown interest in women, i mean baby girls, on the show already in a non-confused way? bisexual yeah, straight out gay, nah. i don't buy that. he ain't roger!

Well Kelsey and Stein are both mainly known for their comedy roles, and Jackie Mason is a pretty well-respected stand-up performer.

Come to think of it, they could fit nicely for guest stars in American Dad (AD), I can imagine them trying to convince Haley.

And I wonder who could be the next politician to guest star in FG or AD; Ron Paul? ;)

GAH! I hate the "conservatives are all humorless old white dudes" stereotype! Seriously, the people who believe Limbaugh and Rove have no sense of humor have never listened to Limbaugh's show or watched Rove in an interview!

I'm looking forward to it, too. Lately, I've written off Family Guy as "The Seth MacFarline Soapbox Show". So having an episode where Brian is revealed to be just a whiny brat will be fun.

As for continuity, Family Guy was never big on that. So I doubt the Fred Savage thing will come up. :p

I really love you for this post...
I don't really consider myself conservative, but more "independent". But I lean more towards conservatism, but anyways..
where does this come from where conservatives aren't funny? I'm more "conservative" and I'll laugh at almost anything.

and rush limbaugh on family guy? that is news to me... I kinda lost a little respect for him showing up on a show like family guy. But thats my dislike for the show talking. I guess it's probably money though. I do agree with stuff that he says at times but I never really cared from him as a person.
