Karate Island: King of Episodes?

Remember that Best Day Ever Countdown of SpongeBob's top 100 episodes? Karate Island won first place. However, Karate Island happened to me my least favorite episode at the time. I was outraged. I even went so far as to think the top ten may be rigged. Nine out of the ten were 2005-06 episodes. I thought they might have just been trying to get more support for season four, because it had none.

Anyway, did Karate Island really deserve that spot? Did it deserve to be in the top 10? Top 50? Did it even belong in the countdown at all? I thought Band Geeks should have at least made the top ten. And a couldn't beleive I'm Your Biggest Fanatic didn't make the top 100.

Opinions please...
 
I agree, "Karate Island" had no business being #1. I didn't find it funny at all, and it was way too new to be defined a "classic".

What would I have picked instead? Anything from seasons 1 or 2. I can't remember what place "The Secret Box" was on the list (if it was on there at all), but it definitely deserved to be high on the list.
 
It didn't belong in the countdown. Nothing in the entire season belonged in the countdown. Nick just wanted to make it's crappy season 4 episodes seem better than the rest.
 
It doesn't deserve to be called best episode. Doesn't even deserve to be a decent episode. That belongs to "The Krusty Krab Training Video". Had better timing, better pacing, better acting.

EDIT- FYI, I mean that TKKTV deserves to be Number 1.
 
The Top 10 was bunk. The only decent episode was The Camping Episode and even that one I wasn't too impressed with, save for the Campfire Song.

Definately. It's sad that the best of all the season one episodes ranked 14th (F.U.N.). And the only one in the top ten not in season four was the Camping Episode (I liked that one, anyway but still). Plankton's Army deserved a better spot as well.

The only season four episode that deserved its spot was "Have You Seen This Snail?", aka, "Where's Gary?".
 
Yeah, I agree. That was a huge let-down. If you ask me, I think Nick rigged the voting to promote their scummy season four episodes. Karate Island wasn't that great. I can't watch it more than once, it's just that bad. Most episodes, like Procrastination and Wishing You Well I can watch over and over again without a problem.
Procrastination definitely deserved a better spot. I agree, Band Geeks should've been in the top ten, at least. And I loved Chocolate With Nuts, and I'll enjoy any season one or two episode. The Training Video was good too.
