My point is that people handle success in different ways. His is that he likes to use it as a platform to talk about whatever he wants to..
 
jay z and dame used to run roc-a-fella, then they sold it to Universal and now that Jay is running Def Jam, roc-a-fella is under Def Jam. so jay now controls all of roc-a-fella

jay got the roc-a-fella name, kanye, freeway, foxxy b, bleek...etc
dame got beenie siegel.
 
i hate to say this, but its been a LONG time since a good rap album came out and college drop out was one of the best in a LONG time to come out. im really diggin late registration right now. he can be cocky for all i care. ali was cocky as fuck when he first came out and today he IS the greatest
 
This is nothing new.
Kanye has been running his mouth since he got a tad bit of fame. First he couldn't stop rapping about his broken jaw which resulted from a car accident where he fell asleep behind the wheel. Rappers who got shot never rapped about it as much as he talked about his near death experience with his broken jaw, I wish someone would break it again so he would just shut the fuck up.

The guy acts like he's the greatest while he can't rap for shit. He was on the local radio here and they tried to get him to freestyle but he pussied out. Then someone from Pitch Black challanged him and they battled. Needless to say that was the most horrific battle verse I've ever heard in my life. He cannot freestyle, he cannot even flow or rhyme. He should stick to sampling popular 70s songs and re-making them into radio hits.. I'll admit he's good at that.
