K700i Syncing Feeling!

I've had a Palm Tungsten 2 for over a year now and am still delighted with it. However, for various reasons I have recently updated my mobile phone from a Sony-Ericsson T610 to a Sony-Ericsson K700i. With the T610 I could email, connect to the web, send SMS messages etc. With the K700i I can do diddly-squat. I've tried variations on the T610 and T68i drivers but nothing seems to work.

I'm absolutely gutted. Being able to connect to the Internet from almost anywhere has always been one of the great plusses of the Palm and now I can't do it.

Anybody out there know how to get a T2 to synchronise with a K700i?

I just liked the thread's title. It made me smile.

I hope that things will work out for your issue, though. I have the T637 and I use the T610 driver, and all is well. Hopefully you can return your new purchase and get a phone that will do what you want it to.

On balance, I decided that being able to access the web from my Palm was more important than having a slightly better phone so the K700i was returned to the shop.

Ironically, the phone upgrade involved switching networks and my existing network provider offered me 5 months free rental to stay with them. Basically I have a fully functional Palm and a free cell phone for 5 months.

Someone up there was smiling on me today!
