i sae this movie on filmfour last night for the first time and i thought it was amazing. i,m interested to know any theories anyone may have on the ending :confused:
 
I love this film. I think the general idea is for people to come up with their own conclusions, but I think as there are sequals to the book (which the film is based on),
prot is actually an alien.
 
I really enjoyed it, was the 1st viewing for me last night. Has anyone read the books? If so are they a good read?

My conclusion was that he is an alien, the tests they did on his eyes re being able to see UV was never explained or his incredible knowledge re the planets etc. I think the regression was a red herring in a way as up until that point i firmly believed he was an alien but then the regression puts a spanner in the works, but i think they are saying that infact he used the other guys body / was linked to him in some way..? clever film great acting..
