K-PAX - C4 Different to DVD version?

Just watching K-PAX on Channel 4, the hypnosis scenes seem to be cut VERY differently to my DVD version. I can't remember exactly, but there seeem to be completely new scenes and some cut completely (and this is just the hypnosis scenes).

The DVD was released by Filmfour and must be about 3 years old?
 
I didnt catch it on tv, but its a brilliant film isnt it. Kevin Spacey is fantastic. Its a pity it wasnt a bigger hit, it would have been nice to see the other books made into movies.
