Billy Boy I sure wish I could say yes but I would be lying. I went to my family doctor yesterday and blood pressure way to high, swelling too much in legs and feet, and my knees are really in bad shape. She has to get some more information from the rheumatologist and neurosurgeon and she wants to get a MRI of my knees. She said the swelling in my legs is probably due to the Mobic I was put on for the knee pain so she wants me to cut in half. Added more medicine to my Blood pressure list and she went ahead and did another Dexa scan for my osteoporosis and blood work.
I told her that I wasn't sure what is caused by the back surgery or arthritis or the many other things I seem to have. I also talked to the pharmacist today and she said the anti-inflammatory medication, Mobic, is probably causing the swelling. My knees are hurting so bad I am not sleeping well at all. I didn't hear anything from her today because I was hoping to get the MRI done soon. I feel so bad with my back hurting and now I can hardly walk because of my knees. I feel so old. I told her that even the Percocet is not touching the knee pain. She wants me to do nothing and try and keep my feet up as much as possible during the day. I forgot to tell her about my bladder problems so that is on my new list.
I know there are many people worse off then me and I should be ashamed to complain so much but I am so discouraged at this time.
How are you doing? I hope you have a good week end. My youngest ganddaughter, 2 years old, was admitted to the hospital today due to severe dehydration and nausea. At this time we aren't sure what is causing it. I am keeping her sister who is 6 years old. The granddaughter in the hospital is so little and the doctors get really concerned when she stops eating because she is underweight for her age and can go down really quick when she gets sick. Please keep her in your prayers and I will keep you all informed of her recovery. Poor little thing had to get an IV and my son says she looks so pitiful.
