Just watched Twilight and now I'm hooked..

I watched Twilight this afternoon after getting the DVD through LoveFilm and now I can't wait to see the other films :D. Before I just couldn't care less about the whole Twilight Saga but after seeing the first film I can see what the fuss was about. Robert Pattison is just ;). I just thought I'd share this :D

I haven't read the books and have read a lot of reviews that say they are badly written so only know Twilight from the films jusy like you.
I found the first one ok, but nothing special. I did want to slap them both for being so bloody moody. The second one, New Moon was ok as well, but seemed to drag and at times was a bit laughable. i still wanted to slap Bella. The third one, Eclipse was the best so far but it's not sure what its trying to do and needed an rewrite and an focus. You had three storylines and none of them were served well by the script.

Lots of people do slate the films rather unfairly in my opinion. They are ok films to watch but nothing to get over excited about. The Twilight-mania I just don't get but then I'm not a teenage girl full of teen angst lol

I'm assuming by your name you are at least female so you are closer that way and in age than me to be a teenage girl full of angst. lol

Both Twilight and Let the right one in are Romances ( of a sort). Twilight is tween bo**ocks and Let the right one in is fantastic/beautiful/moving/thoughtful......

That's like someone watching Rocky and you recommending Raging Bull. They're about the same topic, but clearly aimed at different people.

I watched the first and second twilight film because the third one looked quite good in the trailers, I sat through 4 hours of terrible films, the characters mumbled and when I worked out what they were saying it was rather dull.

The films felt disjointed and random as if each scene was thrown together in the editing room with little thought. I don't understand the allure of Robert Pattinson personally, but his and Kirsten Stewart's acting is quite horrendous in these films.

There seems to be some fair performances from the side characters but there doesn't seem to be much detail about them so their characters don't seem very filled out.

The third film was almost as boring as the first two for me, the action from the trailer is the only action that exists in the film, which equates to around 3 minutes. The rest of the film is just more dull dialogue between the characters and more mumbling and fidgeting from the main characters.

Although if you liked the first film I would say you would like the second and third mainly because they do get better as the series progresses but I don't think there are enough books to get to the point where I will love them.

Just my opinion not saying anyone should agree with me. And I hope you enjoy the other two films Candy, out of interest will you be buying the books?

I think it's easy to be sarcastic and snobbish about Twilight but the same can be done for anything. Take away the SFX and what is LOTR? Lots of grown men in silly costumes talking cobblers going for a long walk,

I've seen all 3 films at the cinema and read all the books. They're okay. New Moon was my favourite book and film.

I'll see the last one (two really) because I a) want to finish the series, b) want to see where they break the final film in two and how they do it and c) want to see how they film a few scenes in Breaking Dawn without having to give the film an 18 rating

I watched the first 2 eps of vampire diaries, Because i love twilight so much. But sorry to say i couldn't stick with it, it send's me to sleep. TWILIGHT IS SO MUCH BETTER, CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF IT:D:D
