Just watched 'The Bucket List'

Got hold of a screener copy of this and thought it was quite good, nothing ground breaking. It seemed a tad rushed in places and dragged a bit at the beginning. Anyone else seen it?

Very disappointing movie from director Rob Reiner with two good actors playing cliched parodies of themselves.

I hope that they all got paid enough to be making such hackneyed old rubbish.

Very poor. Not funny enough to be a comedy, and far too shallow to be a serious film. A wasted opportunity to do something good with the subject matter. IMO.

Thought it was a decent enough film with a nice enough message which was never going to be earth shattering but which wasn't as poor as I ahd been led to believe.

Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson worked well together although there wasn't much point in any of the other characters and whenever I see Sean Hayes I can only think of him playing Jack in Will and Grace.

I was disappointed in this movie and thought it was over-rated as films with top notch actors like these usually are.

I couldn't help feeling throughout the movie that here we have two fantastic actors playing what they themselves might be thinking as playing out a final drama and might be an end to their film-making careers.

It was just so contrived and cliche.....and for some reason it seemed like a repeat of some other movie or TV drama that I've seen somewhere before

Harsh I know....but I just couldn't take either of them seriously in the roles that they played and thoughts kept creeping into my mind that they were doing this as a last ditch attempt to keep themselves in the public eye.

I really didn't feel the compassion and empathy that was what the makers of this movie wanted us to feel...........and this dismayed and saddened me, because these two are in my top 20 best all time actors.

I enjoyed this film, I thought it was tender, whimsical and sad. At the end of the film many people in the cinema including myself were in tears. I would think it would appeal to older people more than young as it can be slow at times, but it makes you think. Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson put in good performances along with Will and Grace's 'Just Jack' who played Nicholson's long suffering assistant.

Yea, it was okay. Didn't care too much about the direction per se, but the performances from the leaRAB was the key to film and rather enjoyable.
