Just starting to go to the gym and I need a routine?

So I'm 17 and just starting to go to the gym to do some weight lifting and other stuff, but I need some kind of routine to work on everything evenly so I dont hurt myself and such.. so is there any particular machines and exercises I should use in any particular order? And I'm kind of working on upper body strength.

Well i'd say just use dumb bells and push ups and that kinda stuff... BUT stretch before and after your done.. it helps keep your muscles bigger and longer
