so, i got a letter from this company Astronomy.
there is like a free trial issue and a free gift, but i haven't got it yet, it's just a letter.
so, i am confused on this part, it says that
IF YOU DECIDE NOT TO SUBSCRIBE, SIMPLY WRITE "CANCLE" ON YOUR INVOICE, RETURN IT AND OWE NOTHING. THE FREE ISSUE AND FREE GIFT ARE YOURS TO KEEP REGARDLESS.

is it mean that if i send my letter to the company, and then they will give me the free stuff, and a invoice. and i write cancle on the invoice if i don't want them, and keep the free stuff. is that right?

Yes and no. There are two problems, or three actually:
1. You may have to give themyour credit card information (unlikely)
2. The invoice usually shows up long before the issue and the free gift. So canceling may mean you wasted your time.
3. Signing up implicitly is intended for people who might actually NOT cancel. Signing up just to get the free gift is unethical to my way of looking at it. Feel free to disagree, but there is something not quite right about signing up when you know you are going to cancel. (They rely on people THINKING they are going to cancel but never getting around to it until they have received MORE isues than the trial issues, and then they're committed (through inaction).
