Just seen Rambo..

To be fair, it's only what goes on in Burma anyway. Whilst not a documentary, this classic 80's-style actioner is at least based in fact.

An astonishingly violent film, and a masterpiece of action. I thoroughly enjoyed it, particularly the claymore and final battle scenes. The explosion in the first few minutes of the film made me jump out of my skin, and the genocidal scenes were pretty graphic. But my word, when Rambo gets his hanRAB on that 50 cal... Pure adrenaline.

Loved this movie. To be honest, the reviews which are slating it have completely misunderstood the idea of the film. The dialogue will never be the best, nor the acting, nor the camera angles - but what Rambo sets out to do is be a balls-to-the-wall, ultra-violent action thriller. And it does exactly what it says on the tin!

The last half-an-hour is pure carnage. Just when Rambo pops behind that mini-gun, everybody in the cinema suddenly straightens up in their seat! Really good action thriller, I'd recommend it to anybody who enjoys the genre and can stomach the extreme violence.

Loved it.

Although the opening scenes were pretty disturbing (but perhaps an honest insight), it was a breath of fresh compared to what I've been used to in recent years. Like everybody else says, the only people who seemingly slate Rambo is the critics.

What CGI?
I thought Sly said that they couldn't afford CGI so everything was done Old School.
As he put it on Jonathon Ross " A snakes a snake and a bombs a bomb".
I havent seen it yet so only going on what Sly said on Jonathon Ross.
