Hello all. I've been milling around this site for some time now and decited to get registered after going to the moto gp race at indy. i've got an 02 748s. little odds and ends here and there, termi's, slipper clutch, etc. i had a buddy of mine custome paint the entire thing and put a clear coat on it. also had my helmet painted to match. that very same helmet was stolen at indy, so i purchased the casey stoner replica from nolan. very nice helmet! the owner prior to me didn't take too good a care of her. it is an original titanium 02 though. thanks again and an awsome site here!

ps. i hate the seat!! anyone want to trade.....?

Yeah, Welcome to the forum. Nice Duc! My cousin has a 748, he let me borrow it for an entire weekend...I was hooked after that. I guess you can say it was the 748 that did me in...

They stole your helmet? That would really piss me off.

Always liked that paint scheme. Welcome.

My brothers in Redlands. Rides a vibroglide though, and not very good at it either. His kid rides a 600RR. Guess which one I take when I visit.
 
yeah, i was livid. we were riding to the stunt show there at indy and i wasn't even going to wear a helmet because there is not helmet law in indiana. got about a block and felt guilty and naked without it. so i turned around and went and got it. sure enough, it got stolen. went and talked to the people at the nolan tent the next day and got a casey stoner replica for $360 with free shipping (they didn't have my size) and a free tinted visor. they were way stoked about my friends and i because we are all in the army and crew members on the chinook helicopter. she wants to do a spread on us in their next catalog with a picture of me, my bike and helmet and all my buddies in front of a chinook. so, all in all, it worked out!

Don't believe everything she said though. She probably figured if she pissed you off, you'd be back with your buds and the Chinook and lift the Nolan tent and drop it God knows where. .
