Just realized something about the virtual console..

If you already have an original copy from your older system, you can probably sell it on ebay for at least the amount you'd pay for it on the vc. For instance, Mario Kart 64 sells on ebay for 16-30 used. But it'll only cost 10 on the wii, and not only that, you will have the instant access convenience, less cluttered gameroom, component cable/480p potential and you won't have to use old ass controllers. Why didn't I think of this sooner?

there aren't any perfect n64 emulators, plus i just switched between ocarina of time on n64 and the wii and there is a huge visual difference.

But is that the VC version or the GC version? Is the hugh visual difference better? Were you using VGA cables on the N64 and component cables on the Wii? etc. Basically you're saying to buy the $40 two game edition (I've heard Master Quest is really hard.)

gc version, n64 was using composite cables, wii - component in 480i. 40 dollars is still kinda expensive, shoulda got it when it came out. cost me 20 bucks and i got a 1 yr sub to nintendo power. note: ocarina hasnt been released on the vc yet.
