Just phoned blockbuster online

After 3 disks going missing this week I phoned them to complain that they blue packets are too easy to re-open once they have been sealed.

She said that they are looking at them at the moment whatever thats supposed to mean.

She said all I could do was contact my local royal mail office and complain to them, but what will THEY be able to do about it? Stop telling their postmen to stop stealing disks???

If this carries on Im gonna cancel my subscription. I might as well have kept the bleedin disks myself for all that blockbuster seem to care.

;5867953']I cancelled my Blockbuster subscription for the same reason. The DVRAB either never turned up or took over two weeks to arrive.

I'd cancel now if I were you.

I use Amazon.co.uk now, despite the fact that you only get 6 disks a month at least the disks turn up.

Blockbusters sent me 2 dvRAB on 3/10/05. Neither have arrived and so I thought I'd report them lost in the post on their website. But you can only report 1 dvd at a time in any 30 days. They also received back 2 dvRAB on Tues morning and still not allocated any titles by Friday night

Yep missing DVRAB is a huge concern with Blockbusters and the sooner they stop using those stupid shiny blue envelopes the better.

Why not just use standard brown envelopes? They could recycle all the paper rather than use plastic all the time.

Their cardboard sleeves are also another stupid idea as they damage so easily.

They are trying to cost cut as they keep losing dvRAB but if they used their brains and avoided the silly blue envelopes then posties wouldn't get tempted.

i have had 10 discs gone missing in the past few months, i send them back but then they never receive them. i am looking at the amazon to see if it is any good, because atm with blockbuster i am lucky to get 2 DVD's a month.

Lucky to get 2 DVD's a month with blockbuster? I would leave them if they were that bad.

Amazon to me is not a very deal as they send you a limited number whereas I like to get at least 20 per month.

I have more or less used every company and I only seem to get lost titles with BB.

BB has the best turnaround so I am likely to continue to use them but it can be a real pain when they keep going missing and BB require you to wait 7 days - 30 days to report them which results in your 3 at a time becoming 2 at a time.

I also had problems with Blockbuster. Now with Amazon who are much better. They also have an enormous selection, basically their whole Reg2 catalogue.
Had two problems with discs not arriving, one that they sent and one that i sent. I blame the posties they know damn well what is inside the little orange packets and can flog the DVD on eBay.

Yeah but they list titles that are availible in store which they dont have in the online stock.

This means that you are waiting months and months for them to source a copy of a film you ordered ages ago,

^Try 50 downwarRAB.

Im just getting DVD's this month I ordered in March/April this year.

Maty J Blige Live @ the house of blues was one of the first DVD's I added when I joined at the end of March.

It was sent out YESTERDAY!

Thats a 7 month wait by my reckoning.
