Just one year in the military and possibly might be pregnant... good or bad?

Well they cant kick you out for it. You will be able to stay in, they will give you certain guidlines that you have to follow as far as work schedule and PT and all that. Not the end of the world, but if you are in a relationship with the father, I recommend getting married so you have enough money to support your child.

It would not be horrible to have the baby and just stay together, but the military gives more money to married couples for housing and money for dependants too, and when you have a baby, you NEED that money. I dont know what branch you are in, or how it all works unmarried, as I got married to my husband who is military and then got pregnant so I have only dealt with that side of things, but I know just for use being married we get an extra $1000 a month just for housing for being married-not that that is a good enough reason for marriage, but we could not support ourselves and a baby on a single soldiers wages, just couldnt happen.
