just installed photoshop cs4?

ive never used it before and was watching a tutorial and then i moved the paths section and the layers section and i cant find them anywhere and i dont understand how to get them back i even restarted the program thinking it would reset it....anyone know what im suposed to do here?
 
Most of the panels can be found under the Window menu. Just go to Window>layers and Window>Paths to get them back. Also in CS4, they will snap to the right side of your screen in minimized panels. The Layers panel looks like a little set of sheets of paper floating over each other.
