Just how bad is our environment?

You hear some people saying its fine, others who are screaming bloody murder if you blow dry your hair, and then people like me who don't really know how it is. Does anyone have any good articles about how our environment is doing?

i wouldn't think its that bad because of history all the things that's taking place like Global warming has happened before.
