Just got work phone. Need help re: personal phone

So just got a cell through work thus pretty much negating 95% of the use of my personal cell. Personal cell is ATT iphone 3G. Contract is up so I can switch to whatever.

Here are my criteria:

1. CHEAP. I really don't need any minutes except a few random calls here or there.
2. The ability to receive some random texts.
3. Would LOVE to be able to tether the phone. I don't have cable or DSL and have been using cricket wireless broadband. Would love to integrate this service with my new phone.

I would get a unlock nokia with att and its capable of tether. what kind of form factor are you looking for?

I don't really care about form factor. I'm basically trying to get four things out of the switch:

1. park my cell number
2. don't lose any texts
3. tether so I can eliminate my broadband card
4. SAVE MONEY!
