Just got my E65 (pic inside)

the video play back is far more than the 6280 is or could be...i have owned 2 - 6280's and they were a decent S40v3 phone....the E65 playes 3GP smooth and also you have other app like Divx player or Real player or SmartMovie player

Yes, I physically picked up my E65 from them yesterday. Box contained the phone, memory card, headset, pouch, USB cable, software cd and manual.

Great customer service. Professional!

the only thing that i hate with E65 is that during a call and you need to use the keyboard and after that you CANNOT close the slide, if you do that the call will be disconnected...
 
That panoman app is sweet. I'll have to give it a try. You're right about the ROM updates and I don't think those pics are that bad. Now I'm just crossing my fingers on a speedy rekease of BB Connect. Then I'll be all set!
 
true true....but yes...learning too sign an app/game is a good thing if you wanna enjoy the endless goodies around the web for xsis/sis S60 v3

here are some pictures taken with the camera (2mpix , no flash and no autofocus) the pictures looks great on the phone but sucks when you transfer dem to a computer

notice that i didnt have any good light condition when i took these pictures.
ill give you better pictures tomorrow =)

My first post here at HoFo...

Im thinking of getting this on "3" in the uk.

Can anyone tell me if it can be set to auto lock the keypad, but NOT close applications?

(I shouldnt have my phone with me at work, so when i see the boss coming i need to close it, lock the keypad but not lose the text i was typing)

The video playback of the E65 is GREAT. Video seems smoother/less jerky than on my E62 or my E50 and the audio is really loud and clear. I am no professional videographer but I have included a short clip below of my E65 in action. This was recorded with the video function of a digital camera so it's not great and in fact there is a bit of noisy that got recorded from the camera (not sure how but my camera squeals a bit!). Anyway, enjoy... (if your not a Norah Jones fan I apologize as this is a clip from one of her recent concerts)

I picked mine up today during lunch (couldn't resist the temptation!). I'm going to play with it now, but I just wanted to chime in and say the phone feels great in your hand.
 
First off, you might want to get another Boss.
If your in the middle of a Text, and your Boss comes, slide the phone closed and hit lock. The Text App will stay open in the background. When he leaves, slide it back open and continue.
Don't know about the auto lock app's.
