Just got my E65 (pic inside)

Thanks Olly,
Work has been to hectic to have a chance to check out HoFo much lately and I had forgotten if posting links was allowed.

By the way, to the OP, Congrats on the new phone.

I'm sorry, but when I Google "Nokia pop port handsfree" I get everything from a simple mono headset to a car speaker, but no stereo headphones. Are there no stereo headphones that work?

Brandon,
I'm to tired to look to see if anybody else wrote this but I think if you change the vibrate profile to sound for alerts it will work. Good luck.

Don't get the Nokia headset... its mono. I would personally go with a regular set of headphones and use a "pop port to 3.5mm" adaptor... there are several options available. Do a search on HoFo on "pop port to 3.5mm" and you will turn up quite a bit. The E65 supports stereo but doesnt come with a headset that can take advantage.

Cheers

hmm, maybe i should get E65. I just lost my E61 and need something to replace. E61 looks pretty nice. I'll miss the full keyboard but the phone is small so i can keep in my pocket and won't misplace somewhere.

anyone knows any good online stores carry this thing?

okay i'll take my slide thing back, when i first opened the box, i was like what are these guys smoking it wasn't like like 8800 slide...

but now that i have made a few calls and played around it seems to slide better.

Thanks, do you have any other sweet apps you are messing around with? BTW, how do you change the Video to lower bandwidth? Thanks again!

I disagree. The address book should be a dedicated key. I've never seen anyone who doesn't want direct one-touch access to their directory book. It's bad enough Sony Ericsson doesn't even have one-touch dialing

The only thing I can ask for any new good lucking symbian device (rare enough) is:is it stabledecent battery lifedecent camerais there any improvement on the T9 from the earlier series? ie.can you edit your custom word dictionary?does it learn frequency of T9 words and sequentially prioritize them?is it any easier to type number & symbols?
Thanks!

The phone is over priced at the current time. So if your thinking you getting a real hot $500 phone, your not.
Your getting a real hot $350 phone for $500.

Good luck in trying to find one in stock. I have been searching for a week and the only ones I can find are on eBay. If anyone finds some "in stock" with a reputable vendor, by all means, post it here!!!
