Just got back from Transformers...

If they are, then it is a perfect adaptation of the original show.

You can't seriously criticize a movie like this as you would another movie. I mean, it is based on an 80s cartoon that was already essentially a commercial. That's the main problem with movie critics nowadays. They don't judge things in context.
 
King Kong had problems, but Godzilla was total shit. I mean, absolute garbage. They showed an active hatred for the source material.
 
EVERY other vehicle in the movie was a badass car, or huge truck or military vehicle. Poor jazz is a queer little solstice.
 
worth the money to see it. everything happens so fast when they're fighting. my eyes can't keep up.

don't stick around after the credits though. nothing to see :-(
 
Sure you can, to a degree. If you spend that much money on a movie, you can afford a decent script and decent actors and a director who directs well. Obviously the idea of a GM car turning into anything besides a smoking pile of metal is ridiculous, but you'd think they could find a way to make the movie not suck. I haven't seen it yet so I'm not giving an opinion here, just saying...
