I got a membership recently for a gym and I have never worked out before. I went with a friend and he showed me how to use a lot of the machines but it was so much i will never remember it all. I gained 70 pounds 2 years ago and lost 50 last year I want to lose the rest. I am a 33 yo female and weigh 175. I know about the cardio stuff but I am not sure on the weight machines. At the gym its mostly huge guys using the weight stuff and I feel all out of place being a girl barley able to do 15 lb stuff. I would like to find an app or even a web site i can use to make a custom work out that I can follow when I go everyday so I have some sorta guide line to follow and don't look as stupid, lol. Something that basically says start with this machine and do this then move on to this and do that, kinda thing.
I am so very new at this, but I am determined to get back in shape, i am less then 40 lbs from my goal now. I Can't afford a personal trainer and I am sure my friend will be around to help out a little but I still want to make a plan.
any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have done a little searching but haven't really found much that seems like its for the absolute beginner. I gave up today because i couldn't even figure out if I had the settings right on the machines!!! I am so uncoordinated at times that I am not even sure if I am doing things correctly in the first place, and I have no clue how to do stretches. It seems as though individually I can find a lot of info but I was hoping to find something that conveniently sticks it all in one place for me.
i know thats why I want to lose another 40 lbs so i can get back in shape, hence the reason i was asking.
