I purchased a small hand held multimeter that I take everywhere with me. With the multimeter you can touch it to the negative and positive poles of the battery and find out what's happening. The battery should read 12.86 plus or minus volts. A new battery will not the culprit, more than likely the cabling is the problem and you must take sandpaper or a knife and make sure all the endings are severely sanded and polished.
 
a new 1 in and no juice at all? Would try to turn over when I jump it, but still not enough juice to start it. All the lights turn on ONLY when I jump it otherwise nothing at all like theres no battery there
