Because my old desktop died, I decided to build my own pc.
Here's what I built:
Intel Quadcore 2.44 ghz
EVGA nForce 790i Ultra Sli
Thermaltake 850W Tough Power
Thermaltake Kandalf LCS
Corsair 2 GB DDR3
320 GB 7200 RPM Seagate HD
320 GB 7200 RPM Hitachi HD
Creative Fatality X-Fi
Ati x1600 (soon to be nVidia 9800 GX2)
So after spending about a day putting everything together, I decided to turn this baby on.... but then it didn't....
I've checked and re-checked the power cables going to the motherboard and they're all firmly in place. The only thing isn't plugged in that I THINK may be the problem is that there is a USB cable I haven't plugged in to the motherboard that is connected to the power button. The reason I havne't connected the USB is its too short to reach the USB connections on my board.
Any advice on how to fix this? Does anyone know if it might be a faulty battery or that my board was fried (*gulp)?
Thanks
