No from what I hear, its any 4 themes for $10 and 5 for $15. So either $2.5 for theme, or $3 if you take all per theme. Interesting concept, first bdu to provide options and not throw down tiers of channels.... thumbs up on this front. I am also hearing that for those that have the existing hd pack, it is grandfathered in - so no impacts.

Everyone has an opinion, I guess that's why there are programming package options. Not really sure if there is a question in your post or what really you are saying. If everyone posted every time they changed their packaging these forums would be full LOL. Pick the package that meets your needs and price range.

Personally, I have the Digital base ($32), 4 themes ($20) and the HD ($10) and am extremely happy. I watch less TV now as I almost exclusively watch HD channels. If it isn't in HD, I give it serious consideration about whether or not I want to watch it or not.

Actually, I found it again : I saw the new HD packages in April's french version of the "Show" magazine. I assume it should also appear in the English version.

so if we remove the rental hardware, that comes to $146 for your TV package...yikes...that's about what i pay for all my TV with all the HD, movies package, 7MB high speed internet and home phone service with 2 features and LD.

No it won't, actually it will cost me less $10 since I am going to cancel HD pack and keep HD themes...

I saw it too...

I doubt that the pack will be 5$ like the SD theme packs...they only have 2-4 channels per theme!!!

Perhaps the later part of this thread should be moved to a new one, to discuss specifically the new HD theme packs?

So if the HD themes cost more than the HD pack ($10) it will cost you more .
They only way you save is to drop themes, which you can do now.
I guess we will have to wait and see.

What programming do you have that is worth $146 - less the $30 rental charges that by the way would cost $25 for HDPVR + $13 for HD = $38. $8 more at Rogers for inferior boxes...hmmm.
