just cleaned my fish tank?

so I just cleaned my fish tank, and I'm worried I make have put too much water conditioner in, how do I know/what can happen/what do I do?
help is VERY much appreciated .
I didnt pour it in but I may have used too much, I accidently put in two fizz tabs thinking I put one in. The reason I ask is because I have a 5 gallon tank, with one betta and two frogs, and my betta is way more active than usual, more so like twitching.
I was wondering if it had anything to do with the water change, he is going in circles, up and down and all over the place
 
Look, if you overdosed by a small amount over the limit then I am sure it will be fine. But unfortunately, if you weren't paying attention to how much you put in, its gonna be hard to tell (unless something dies). So I would recommend a water change. But you will probably be fine as long as you didn't totally pour it in there. Also depends on the size of the tank btw.
 
i've never heard of fizzing water conditioner tablets before but i often use more water conditioner than is recommended and have no problems with doing so. your betta is probably more active because he has oxygene in the water and he likes it....yes they do like oxygene in the water as they can breath that way and in fact that is more natural for them
 
If you think your fish is acting abnormal, I'd take him out of there and do another water change. Better safe than sorry.
Maybe he's just romping around happily in his freshly cleaned tank, but if you don't think this is it, get him out and redo it. Just watch water temp and dechlor it.
