Just cause someone doesn't like a certain culture, makes them racist?

Why is it that people will automatically label you as being racist if you don't like certain culture groups? I don't get why people can't respect the fact that certain cultures may not be attractive to a certain individual. It doesn't make someone bad in my opinion if they don't care or like certain cultures. They may be annoyed by them and so forth. Nothing wrong with that.
 
It is racist if you make rude, ignorant comments toward someone's culture

or if you make someone feel unwelcome because of his or her different culture or ethnicity

Most people usually are uncomfortable with different cultures even the most "cosmopolitan" and "liberal" people as it is human nature to not understand what is unlike your own.
