Just bought a LCD tv but the quality is crappy, is it worth buying a HDMI cord?

Just bought a RCA LCD 40inch 1080p HDTV. i hooked it up to my Verizon cable components and the HD channels look great but the Digital channels look really low quality. If i go buy a HDMI to HDMI cord instead of using a YPbPr cord will there be a noticeable quality difference?

Thanks.

I think it will be worse because you're not getting the high definition signal. The Component Cables (Green, Blue, Red) I think have the best quality. At least on my parents 32 inch Samsung LCD it looks amazing. Crystal Clear.

Digital channels though aren't High Definition. We needed to get High Def Cable converter boxes in order to get that kind of picture and resolution.
