with the bank? Dealer said the orig down payment was not want the bank wanted and know wants a different payment than specified in the signed contract. Dealer said that he was willing to work with me.... Is this a breach of contract? can I walk from the deal? shouldnt I be the one working with the dealer and not hte other way around? The deal took place in California is that helps. Serious helpful answers only, Im looking at legal rep for this.
I got the loan just fine, bank came back to the dealer after they had already re written the deal, I had talked to the bank to verify the contract. and the Dealer called to say there was a snafu, and that the bank wanted a different amount a month after signing the deal. What is the legality, I realize this stuff happens, My question is what are my options not does this happen.

Its normal.

Every finance contract includes a provision "Pending lender approval" which protects the dealer from being sued if no lender will take on your contract.

You can either sign a new contract which probably wont be favorable to you or return the car and walk away from the deal.
