comming out of the muffler? i just bought a 1992 mazda b series extended cab pickup with 148000 miles and there is some smoke comming out of the muffler it dosent smoke alot but its starting t o do it more what are the causes for this should i run a can of sea foam through the vacuume line /or should i just take it to a mechanic im tryng not spend a whole lot on it i payed 1250 for the truck and im wanting to know what i can do my self first before i take it to a mechanic

it depends on the color of the smoke. if it is white than is might be burning antifreeze but it could just be normal condensation. jut keep an eye on coolant level in radiator and if it starts to get lower have it checked out,if it is blue smoke then it is burning oil and you cant do much about it unless you rebuild the engine, just add oil to it about once a week, if it is black smoke than it is running rich and you should probably have that checked out to.

you should check your carburetor it could be bad i had the same thing happen to my car, then again what color is the smoke:
black = carb trouble
white can mean its just not hooked up right, or some other things
