Jury Duty Summons Question?

this question was brought up in a conversation between me and friends. I believe that a court can not send you to jail if you did not know that you got a jury letter or if you just ignored it and tossed it. Legally a court or cop have to prove that you received a letter saying you had jury duty they can not just simply arrest you based off assuming. Jury Duty letters aren't physically given to the potential jury or is not delivered through registered/certified mail that has a tracking code it is delivered via through regular mail no tracking code. That letter could of been easily lost, sent to the wrong address or just never received the mailing system is so bad im still waiting for a letter from italy and its been about 7 years and ive received mail w/different addresses on them from my own. My point proven. Im sure courts have better things to do then worry about why this person didn't show up. They find people to fill the spots anyway. Even mentioning the term Jury Nullification will get you off maybe. But back to what i was saying. I've know so many people who receive letters and have not gone and nothing has happened to them at all and its been years. I have a sister in law who moved to a different state in 2008 she stayed at my house while she lived here. She recently started to get jury letters a few months ago. She never knew But because she didnt know and lived out of state now because of that does the court have a reason to seek a warrent for her arrest? no they dont because she moved out years before left the state started to get them and never knew. Whats the point of telling her shes not crossing 4,5 states for a day of city duty. I took a criminal justice class and i know you can't arrest someone based off information that CAN NOT and WILL NOT be proven.
