So true, I just don't think I could sit through a western. I certainly don't torture myself sitting through a horror film that I know will give me nightmares for days.

well done Juno on compiling those lists. Out of your 150 films we share 2

Hard work isn't it doing those lists? Interesting tho. Look forward to reading your expanded list

Awakenings, also. Dead Poets is a wonderful Movie, especially if you've been to strict Schools. "Priests & Nuns" still give me nightmares..LOL

Just saw Inception today and that will be inserted into my top 100 films for sure.

#10: The Breakfast Club 5/5 stars~ My favorite of the brat packers film. There are so many funny lines and the interaction of the 5 main characters are fantastic.

#9: With Honors 5/5 stars~ One of the best performances I have ever seen in a movie that is not well known. Joe Pesci puts together a fantastic performance. The co-starring cast is also brilliant.

#8: The Princess Bride 5/5 stars~ A true classic of true love.

#7: August Rush 5/5 stars~ Freddie Highmore is brilliant in this movie where he must find his parents through his love of music. Keri Russell, Jonathan Rhys Meyers & Robin Williams are also very good in this film.

#6: Girl, Interrupted 5/5 stars~ Fantastic performance by Oscar winner Angelina Joile and also a great performance by Winona Ryder.

#5: American Beauty 5/5 stars~ Brilliant cast with a huge performance by Kevin Spacey. Also an ending that makes ya jump out of your seat and also cry.

#4: Dead Poets Society 5/5 stars~ Robin Williams at his best and it really isnt in a comedic role. Also the ending is also very memorable.

#3: The Outsiders 5/5 stars~ A brilliant cast before they all became stars and one of the best stories that a film was made into.

#2: The Notebook 5/5 stars~ The onscreen chemistry of Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams was brilliant. Also James Garner and Gena Rowlands were fantastic. One of the saddest endings of a movie in my opinion.

#1: Juno 5/5 stars~ This movie has it all for me . A character in Juno(Page) that is funny, sweet, and just free spirited. Then there is her boyfriend Paulie Bleeker(Cera) who is a little goofy but will do anything for Juno. This is totally the guy I am looking for. So I love this movie because I want to live this movie other than having a baby and all. The soundtrack is also awesome.

The 4 movies from 2010 that I am inserting into my top 100 go like this:

#71: Remember, Me starring Robert Pattinson 4/5 stars: I really enjoyed seeing Pattinson in another role other than Twilight as he did a wonderful job.

#49: Eclipse starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart & Taylor Lautner 4/5 stars: The 3rd installment of the Twilight series was the best of all. A lot of action and the acting is getting better each fiklm.

#53: The Runaways starring Kristen Stewart & Dakota Fanning 4/5 stars: both these young actresses did a brilliant job portraying Joan Jett and Cherrie Currie.

#17: Inception starring Leonardo DiCaprio & Ellen Page 4/5 stars:Brilliant filming and acting by all involved in this film.

** So since I added 4 movies to my top 100 that means 4 have to go. Those movies are: The Object Of My Affection, Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion, As Good As It Gets, and Boys On The Side. **

#100:The Object Of My Affection: 4/5 stars~ good romantic movie. Great acting by Aniston and Paul Rudd.

#99: Romy & Michelle's Highschool Reunion: 4/5 stars~ very funny movie. Great performances by Lisa Kudrow & Mira Sorvino.

#98: It's Complicated: 4/5 stars~ Streep, Martin, and A. Baldwin are hilarious in this witty romantic comedy.

#97: Boys On The Side: 4/5 stars~ good sentimental story with a lot of fun added into it. Whoopi Goldberg,Mary Louise-Parker, and Drew Barrymore work really well together on screen.

#96: The Sure Thing: 4/5 stars~ one of the first John Cusack 80's movies that has a lot of fun and excitement.

#95: Planes,Trains, & Automobiles 4/5 stars ~ Steve Martin and John Candy are hilarious together in the John Hughes directed comedy

#94: The Cake Eaters: 4/5 stars~ Kristen Stewart & Aaron Stanford put on a great performance in Mary Stuart Masterson's film of a young lady with a disability who finds love.

#93: As Good As It Gets 4/5 stars~ Jack Nicolson & Helen Hunt are perfect together in this romantic comedy.

#92: Bull Durham: 4/5 stars~ I usually don't like sports movies , but the cast in this one with Tim Robbins, Kevin Costner, and and Susan Sarandon bring a lot of laughs.

#91: Cocktail: 4/5 stars~ Early Tom Cruise movie where he is a bartender and finds romance.

Ugh. Eclipse? seriously? I can see somewhat enjoying the film, but #49 of all time?

I guess it happens though. My list may have some that people scoff at.

I thought Eclipse to be the best of the series so far. The films still do no justice to the books in my opinion, but I still enjoyed them.

Just recently saw two films that will be inserted into my top 100.

Remember, Me starring Robert Pattinson 4/5 stars: A romantic film that brings Pattinson away from his Twilight role in great fashion. He connects with this role and the chemistry between Pattision and co-star Emilie de Ravin is incredible.

Eclipse starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner 4/5 stars: Definitely the most intense of all the movies so far and the one that kept my interest the best. Also stopped at a good time for the next installment of Breaking Dawn next year.

After getting the recommendation from rauldc14 for the Lucky Ones I got it out of the library and watched it. It was a very good movie and has replaced New York, I Love You int the top 50 at #45 on my list of films from 2000-2009.
