June 2009 Living Environment Regents question about the Red Fox and Artic Fox question?

Answers 1 and 2 were VERY close answers that almost were identical.
I forget the question, something about the foxes and their environment.
I think picked answer 2, forget what it was though.
Do you remember what you picked and what the question and answer it was?
I think 1 was like: the red fox likes warmer climates better and adapts to it
and I think 2 was like: the red fox is suited for the warmer climates and it evolves to fir its needs


somthing like that :I if i got somthing wrong it was that.
yay! Yes for the twins I put enviornmental factors
 
I chose 2; that was definitely the answer; it said something like they adapted to their different environments, which caused the changes. The first one said it was b/c of preferring dessert/arctic=] Oh, and Kate, I chose that too b/c the environment causes variation; none of the other answers were logical lol
 
i don't know which one it was... but one of them was like " the foxes look different because they adapt to their environments" or something like that.
 
If you picked something with the environment ,it's right ,i put that one
what about the twins question>i think i put the environment affect the genes>
