July's Jaunty Jammy Jovial Compilation

i have almost 10 hours of folk/singer-songwriter music on my computer. i like folk music, especially when it has a kick to it. and yeah, not a whole lot, but i like to be open to other genres and it may fill up pretty soon.

and that She & Him album made me want to listen to M. Ward's stuff, and i love it. i only have his album Hold Time though, what else do you think i should get.

i don't have any albums from M. Ward, but there's a compilation coming up in this year called "Monsters of Folk" featuring conor oberst and M. Ward

I think that's the case with anyone that hasn't taken the time to get into or explore a certain genre. Until they're ready and interested, it can all sound the same.

yeah, i knew it from how much he was proffessing his love all week for them :D

as do many artists in every genre.

people gotta realize that all music is relative and that alot of the issues in one genre can also be happening in the rest.

Absolutely, I have their debut which I'll upload here. Link will be on the way shortly, it's a great album.

EDIT: Looks like your inbox is full so I posted it on your wall thing.

lol I was taking it to the extreme (and taking the piss) when I said it all sounRAB the same :p:

All I meant was that I was at the point where the majority of it is so uninteresting to me that it's all same-same.

@ Sidewinder, I have listened to a whole lot of prog. I don't dislike it because its prog, and I like some of it. It just isn't for me.

I used to be interested. But really, most of it is boring pap to me.

Though I am extremely worried about the 'Cult Of Prog' that rab is currently under the spell of :p:
