Juggling school & military lifestyle?

My husband is doing his own thing when he gets out of the Military in possibly 2 1/2-3 years.I have no degree and want to start now with Communications. I am stuck in the middle with choosing Associates or Bachelors. We have a 6 month old child now. Should I start with the Associates and have a job within 2 years possibly and have a paycheck before my husband gets out? Or do the 4 years at once and have a part time job?

I'm stuck! What would you do? Thanks.
Oh no. I am not near a military base for deployment time. I am just looking online for the online degrees & decent affordable schools. I have researched some that were near my base but don't have particularly my interest. Thanks. I've heard an Associates is worthless from other students, but hearing it from a Graduate with working experience makes more sense.

An associates is worthless in the modern world. You have to start from scratch, and you should begin with the degree plan of the Bachelors. Have you gone to the Education Center on base yet to see what options are available to you as a military dependent? They helped me with finishing my second Bachelors with a move to a new base and college. They were great. Now, I am in Graduate school. I know how hard it is to balance being a mom, wife, and student. But I suggest you start with a degree plan of Bachelors; stopping at an associates would be a waste of time and your abilities.

Some community colleges offer online classes that are great basics that transfer to Universities. It would be good to start there if you want? Then you can have more time to research your options prior to getting set into a school or degree plan, while earning some credits.
