I think the guy shouldn't have to pay anything. The record companies need to adjust their business practices to the new emerging dynamic market online. Instead they're suing students. Fucking bullies.
 
So stealing 30-songs is worse than stealing a car? Oh wait, white people steal music, and they have money...now that makes sense.
 
Seriously though I'd probably pay ~$10/month for unlimited access to stream all music. Which is $10/month more than the record companies have received from me in the past 10+ years.
